Sarah's Cookies (shortbread cookie with almond, heath and sea salt)


Cream till light and fluffy:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar

Add:
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups cake flour

Chill dough, then roll out to about 1/4 inch.  Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.  While baking, melt some chocolate and then spread over warm baked cookie.  Sprinkle with almond pieces, heath (or Score) bars (chopped) and sea salt. 

Cut bars into diamonds while still a little warm so you don't crack the hardened chocolate. 

(Recipe for about a half of a sheet pan.)
